ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
Vibe-coding an MVP is fast — but adding features to it by throwing more prompts at the wall is how projects break. You need a way to bring structure and real-world context into AI-assisted development. That's where Antigravity CLI comes in — an AI coding agent that runs in your terminal. On its own, it can understand your code base, run commands, and edit files. Its real power comes from what you plug into it:

skills give the agent methodology and domain knowledge — a methodology skill enforces structured development workflows, while a domain skill provides accurate API knowledge so the agent doesn't hallucinate.
MCP servers give the agent live connections to external systems — letting it inspect real schemas, run queries, and validate its work against actual data instead of relying on stale training knowledge.
Skills shape how the agent thinks; MCP shapes what the agent can see and interact with. Together, they turn a general-purpose coding agent into one that follows a structured workflow grounded in real-world data. This codelab walks you through that combination, from installing plugins to shipping a feature.
