Generative AI for Federated Learning: Improving Privacy & Performance

Enterprises want what generative AI can offer, but often their most valuable data can't leave the building, whether it be patient records in healthcare, transactions in finance, or proprietary design plans in manufacturing. That friction is what pulled me into federated learning. In this talk, I'll show how FL solves that problem and how the tools have matured well past the sandbox stage. I'll walk through recent advancements that have made FL more practical, including federated fine-tuning, efficient architectures, and stronger privacy guarantees, and cover what regulated industries should weigh before adopting FL. This talk will help you see why FL is no longer just a research curiosity for privacy-sensitive AI.
