For twenty years digital experiences were built around a single assumption: users open an app, navigate menus, and adapt to product’s logic. That assumption is collapsing. The next interface is not a screen -- it’s intent, mediated by AI. We call this shift "Zero-App/AI-First Interfaces." In automotive, this shift is existential: the vehicle cabin is becoming the most contested surface for AI-led experience orchestration. This session examines what model is dying inside the vehicle -- and what must replace it to deliver trust, safety, and genuine delight. The opportunity is massive: the car can become the most context-rich node in a consumer’s daily ecosystem. The risk is just as large: if automotive doesn’t own the orchestration layer, it becomes a commodity endpoint in someone else’s AI universe. The session will examine the gaps between rhetoric and reality across orchestration AI, UX continuity, trust, and operating models. The “Zero-App” shift is not a UX trend... it’s a business model shift. When intent becomes the interface, distribution changes, data control changes, brand value changes, and “who owns the customer” gets rewritten.
